Question: Isn't ExcelSQL doing exactly what Microsoft Query already does? And Microsoft Query is free.

Answer: True, ExcelSQL has been created for the same purpose than Microsoft Query. However, ExcelSQL's implementation is totally different from that of Microsoft Query, and for most parts, in our opinion, for ExcelSQL's benefit. See comparison between ExcelSQL and Microsoft Query.

Question: Can I use Microsoft Access databases from ExcelSQL?

Answer: Yes. Microsoft Access support was added in ExcelSQL 3.0. For more information, see ExcelSQL documentation.
